Bride of the Water God 2017 is one of those dramas which will probably have a slew of pleasant listens making up its OST. First up, The Reason Why, by Yang Da Il. I enjoyed the first episode though I found the narrative a little choppy at some parts, but overall, it is a fun watch. I love me Nam Joo Hyuk so watching him for over 60 minutes is a breeze for me.
Sorry, it wasn’t kidnappers that warranted the trunk action but a wild boar chase. I think more significantly about the scene is that the usually uncaring, self-centred water god instinctively wanted to protect someone for the first time in his immortal life. The subtle realisation is written all over his hands, face and eyes.
