I can’t help it. I think I’m ardently shipping Yoona and Hong Jong Hyun in real life, too. HEH. They seem like a cute pair, especially in the first video where they are filming the scene where Rin pulls San aside and hugs her. If anything else, they seem a more plausible off-screen couple than my Yoona-Taecyeon pairing.
Both Im Si Wan and Hong Jong Hyun looked after Yoona really well on set, which was so sweet to see. I’m a little more skewed towards Hong Jong Hyun and have a soft spot for him because I’ve seen his gentle-but-manly behaviour on We Got Married. He had me when he nervelessly bungee-jumped carrying Yura without breaking a stride. Plus, he is the practical kind that can do everything, from fixing stuff around the house and just being sweet, cool and considerate all at once.
Regarding the first video, the copy on screen says that Yoona is so comfy leaning on Hong Jong Hyun’s knee in between takes. Well, apparently he made it comfy by adjusting the height of his knee. Love the look on Yoona’s face as if she is reclining on some plush lounge chair. Hehehe. He is always helping her up and minding her heavy skirts to prevent her from tripping, while she is forever fussing about his hair. They had to do re-takes for this scene because his hair kept falling across his face. He had to swish his ponytail at the right angle. Sigh, the perils of sageuk hairdos.

I have checked out all the BTS clips of this drama because I love it so 🙂 HJH is really caring and sweet. As for two of them being in their own world, the recently released BTS clip of Yoona and Im Si Wan filming the back-hug scene also described the two being in their own world. Ha! I guess the term is used quite broadly, but I do love how Hong Jong Hyun and Yoona interact off-camera.

I have always believed that it should be the guy who should express his interest first but if the guy is painfully shy like HJH Iis in real life, then YA needs to find out how he feels from his actions because in an interview before, HJH said that he is very shy and he doesn’t say when he is interested in a girl but he shows through his actions.
So it is up to YA to find out from HJH through his actions if he is interested. If YA observes HJH’s actions to be very attentive and special to her, then she should ask him how he feels. If she dares to. 🙂
Yes, I was struck by how comfortable HJH and YA looked in their interactions especially with how easily HJH held YA’s hand right after their scene at the end of the video to help her up. Swooon….
you should checked their wrap up party pics, I saw a pic where (it looks like) Yonna was hand the mic to HJH and HJH grab the mic along with her hands *fangirling scream*
