good morning call is my latest fluffy fix
I’ve been watching many Japanese dramas and animes of late on Netflix, and my latest find is the youth romance, Good Morning Call. The story is about a sweet high school girl who ends up sharing an apartment with the cutest, coolest boy in school. There are two seasons – the first takes place during their high school days, while the second continues the couple’s story when they are in college. I’m not done with Season 1, but I find the drama addictive.
The male lead Shunya Shiraishi reminds me so much of Shun Oguri when he was young, though they don’t really look alike. He gets more charming as the show progresses. The drama is pretty old since it aired in 2016, but still soooo good.
